Ranthambore Safari Timing

The Safari Timings in Ranthambore National Park for both the entry & exit varies according to the season, whether it is the summer season or the winter season. During the winters, the daylight hours are shorter while during the summers, the daylight hours are longer. The entry timings in the park begin a little later during the summers, and same is the case with exit timings. The morning safaris are conducted from 7: AM to 10:30 AM, while the evening safaris are conducted from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The timings may vary a little depending on the particular season.

The distance between the Airport and the park is 160 km which can be traveled either by the road or by the train. There are regular flights to Jaipur from all the major cities of India. The airport in Jaipur is an International airport so the city is also well connected through the flight with various overseas cities. The direct bus and taxi services are available from the airport itself to reach the Sawai Madhopur where the Ranthambore Park is located.

By Rail – 🚇

The easiest way to reach the Ranthambore is the train route. The Sawai Madhopur railway station is the nearest railway station from the Ranthambore Park. The station is located at the distance of about 11 km from the park and the tourist can catch the local bus, taxi or cab to reach the Ranthambore Park from the Sawai Madhopur station. There are direct trains to Sawai Madhopur station from the major cities of India like Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and others. The station is a heritage railway station and awarded for the best tourist friendly station in India.
